Sustainable facilities management (SFM) is an emerging field within facilities management (FM) through which to achieve the building’s high performance and safety, low resource utilization, low greenhouse emissions generation, as well as other adaptations to climate change such as energy management, water efficiency, air quality, waste and recycling.
